Picture
Event Horizon (detail) 2009
This is a self portrait, from a constantly shifting vantage point. Consistency is not sought here. Only truth of a changing moment. Every layer of an onion has its own story to tell. Every grain of sand on a beach has a unique point of reference. Every existence in time and space is its own reality. Every certainty expressed is truthfully untrue from some other point of view. There is a certain kind of judging that makes quicksand out of the very notions that you seek to rest on.

from my sketchbook 2015
So, I am going to step out of my comfort zone, out of the wonderfully secluded dark of an attic basement, to journal my thoughts and visions, my dreams and words, to trace the recursive patterns, explore the bread crumb trails, the feathers, scales, the shadows, the static electricity, the idealistic, pessimistic, judgmental, transcendence, of my being, buried in this debris, in this time, this place, these pixels, this projected light, this run on sentence of my life, so that I can examine the emanations and common core of all I experience.

So...
if the above is not clear, let me be more vague. I am going to share words and images here, sentiments that I previously considered too private to share.  You have been warned.
